A Courtice, Ont., man faces expenses following reported shoplifting incidents at two companies in Lindsay, Ont., on Thursday.
Kawartha Lakes Police Service officers say Kent Road West companies reported a suspected shoplifting incident.
Whereas attending a primary location and receiving an outline of the suspect, officers obtained a second name from an worker at one other enterprise on the road. The worker reported a theft by a person matching the outline of the suspect from the primary retailer.

Officers discovered and arrested the person, who police say was present in possession of stolen property and medicines.
A 43-year-old Courtice, Ont., man was arrested and charged with theft beneath $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime beneath $5,000t, and possession of Schedule I substance.
He was launched and is scheduled to look in court docket in Lindsay on March 30.
